First we will see how to park 90 degree parking on your right side. This parking is easy if you follow the proper methods. Once you know 90 degree parking, you can also park 45 degree parking.

Parking on your right side slot

Choose where you are going to park prior. Because if you passed the parking slot you may need to reverse your car.

Drive towards left first. It will give you enough space to turn right. Move slow to align you right rear mirror to the parking line. Once you aligned, give way to oncoming traffic before turning, check the center and right rear mirrors, indicate, do a head check, start steering towards the right. Do not steer too much. If you steer too much, car will go close to the right side. If you do not steer enough it will go close to the left side. Adjust your steering so that your car can go to the middle of the parking slot. If any passenger sitting on any adjacent car watch them. They may open the door abruptly.

Safety steps before reversing

Your speed should be slower than walking pace.
You have to reduce the volume, if you are listening any music.
You have to wind the window down.
Turn your head and check through the rear window while reversing.
Never accelerate while reversing. If the car is not moving, and the parking slot is in steep, just give a gentle push.

You need to reverse straight. Switch on the right indicator, which side you are reversing. It will be the opposite side of where you are going. Make sure no one on your way. Check both side and make sure no cars on both sides. Before reversing Make sure, the front wheels are straight. Otherwise car may move towards right or left and damage the other parked cars. When your car is reversing stop where your rear mirror meets at the end of other park cars. Check both side and start reversing to the right.

Parking on your left side slot

Now we will see how to park on your left side. Parking on your right side is easy because you have enough space to turn. Left side parking is little hard because your car is on the left side. Check the oncoming traffic. Check the center, left and left rear mirrors. Indicate, head check. When everything is clear, drive towards the right side( opposite lane). Then turn inside into the free parking slot.
