It is also called the rear in or reverse parking. As the name says, you need to reverse your car inside the parking slot and park it. You need to take extra caution, while reversing.
Safety steps before reversing
Your speed should be slower than walking pace.
You have to reduce the volume, if you are listening any music.
You have to wind the window down.
Turn your head and check through the rear window while reversing.
Never accelerate while reversing. If the car is not moving, and the parking slot is in steep, just give a gentle push.
Choose where you are going to park prior. Drive towards the left. Check the internal and external rear mirrors. Switch on the left Indicator. When your shoulder passes the left line of the parking slot, turn right and make a 45 degree. Then press the brake and change the gear to reverse. Turn your head and check through rear window. Slowly release the brake and steer the wheel towards the left gently. While reversing, you can stop and check the left and right rear mirrors.
